Daniel Wellington Watch Review

This is an honest Daniel Wellington watch review as I have seen a few posts and didn't feel like they truly represented reality.
So my beloved Marc Jacobs watch broke recently and due to it being the 5th time that it has broken I decided that we needed to part ways. I wanted to get a watch that had a mesh strap as I thought it would last longer and look more sleek. I did some research and set my heart on this Daniel Wellington black and gold mesh watch.
I ordered it on their website and the delivery was super quick. It arrived in a cute simple box and came with an owners guide (pictured below). However, at first I was not impressed. The watch is insanely hard to adjust!! In order to adjust the mesh strap to fit to your wrist you need to use the little tool that comes with it. I mean don't get me wrong it is pretty easy to adjust it just takes A LOT of strength. I found the latch extremely hard to move and I honestly thought that due to the amount of pressure I was applying to it it was going to break it! But after half an hour or so and multiple people trying I managed to open the latch and fit the band to my wrist.
I have now owned the watch for a few months and have had no problems with it. I love it and it has received multiple compliments. The only issue is that if you're like me and have hairy arms it occasionally catches on my hair. But for me this only happens once or twice a month so it doesn't personally bother me.

Do you have a Daniel Wellington watch and if so how have you found it?

Winter in Hampshire

Winter in England this year seems to be never ending. Never have I ever seen so much snow in this country in one season and there are rumours that we have not seen the last of it (please no more?!).

I can't lie this is a bit of a throwback post. Back in December I went to visit my bestie who lives mileeeeeees away from me down in Hampshire. She lives in such a cute little village that is so picturesque so of course we took some outfit photos for a new post.

The Euro Trip 2017

Recently I was lucky enough to go on a trip to Germany and the Netherlands to learn all about their transport systems and what makes them work. I got to visit the Schewebebahn, the insane cycling network and culture in the Netherlands and the double decker trains. We had a lecture on the future of driverless cars and got to investigate how German students prefer to travel to college. Thought I would post some pictures on here for my friends and family to see...

This last picture was taken on the Gudak app which replicates a disposable camera. You have a certain amount of film to use before you have to wait for the film to develop (then you can finally see the pictures you took). Don't worry you get more film to use so it's not only 28 shots and that's it. I highly recommend it (although it does sometimes jumble up my photo album order but that might just be me).

You can find more pictures on my Instagram.

#GOMO (Going Out More Often)

Summer 2016 is, dare I say it, nearly over but it has been a fab one if I don't say so myself. As you may already know from my previous post I recently went to Boardmasters festival in Cornwall. But what you may not know is that i wasn't planning to attend this festival this year. It wasn't until a couple of weeks before it started when I decided to just bite the bullet and go for it... Make the most of my summer and spend some quality time with my friends. I also did not want to get that annoying FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) feeling that tends to happen quite a lot throughout summer. I decided that I needed to make this summer about #GOMO (Going Out More Often) and make it memorable.

My favourite day at Boardmasters festival was our day trip to Fistral beach. The best thing about this festival is that was not just the standard music festival in a field nor is it all about drinking so much you can't remember where you are but it is also  a surf, sea and skateboarding festival. This part of the festival took place at this beach! It was free entry and had lots of little competitions and stands for all ages.

Like this free part of the festival, there are hundreds of events going on all around you and you probably don't even know it! Eventbrite is a quick and free service that allows you to easily search what's going on around you. It's so easy sign up and it's a super useful tool for not only summer but for all year round! You can find their page here.

After looking on the site and specifically searching for music events I saw that it is Ministry of Sound's 25th Birthday soon and Eventbrite are selling the tickets! I know what I'll be doing on the 3rd September! Roll on winter!
